The 4th of July is special time for everyone in this great country, and we all have different ways of celebrating this great holiday. The "Thunder In The Valley", fireworks spectacular will be held on the 4th of July 2009, on the Hocking College Campus, located in Nelsonville, Ohio. "Thunder In The Valley", is the topping event of the Athens County 4th of July celebration.

This event has become one of the premiere fireworks displays for Southeast Ohio. The show is choreographed to music and is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Hocking Hills.
